About the application

Black Art Crawl  Exhibitions:
We would like to extend an invitation to all Black visual artists of any medium to participate in our upcoming Black Art Crawl exhibitions. Black Artist Forward will be hosting the exhibition in Fayetteville, NC, from June 14, 2024, to July 28th, 2024.

We welcome online submissions from April 1st, 2024, until May 1st, 2024. We encourage all artists to submit their entries promptly and look forward to viewing your work.

Exhibitions:
Undercurrent
Honeyed Molasses
Femnoire
Our People Pt 2

GOAL:
Black art has often been a silent influence on our culture at large, and in Undercurrent we will dive into the vibrant colorful art that is surging underneath the surface. Artists are asked to submit 2D and 3D works that celebrate the idea of “blackness” and the undercurrent of influence it has on the world.
Undercurrent will explore traditional, non-traditional, and contemporary interpretations of the influence of black art by artists, designers, and makers working with both 2D and 3D mediums.

Established, emerging, international, and student artists are encouraged to participate. Artists working in all media are encouraged to apply.
